Job description

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying up-to-date with product features, and maintaining high-quality visual standards of the products and store. Store associates aim to provide excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.

Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company conducts criminal history reviews to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public.

The selected individual will work at stores within 15 miles of Store #708008, located at 6307 NE Highway 99 Vancouver, WA 98665. This is a PART-TIME position with a starting pay of $17.70 per hour.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish

Responsibilities
