Description

Retail Store Associate

As a Wild Fork Team Member, your focus is to deliver a memorable experience to all our guests. You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher, acquiring the highest level of product knowledge to recommend dishes or proteins. You will also be responsible for inventory control to ensure product freshness, replenish stock, pick and pack online orders, and provide a friendly check-out experience.

Compensation:

$20 an hour plus monthly bonus based on performance

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador – enthusiastic about our products and educate customers on what Wild Fork stands for
• Become a product and culinary expert through training, offering recipes and cooking tips
• Provide a personalized shopping experience, especially as a friendly butcher
• Assist customers at checkout and create memorable experiences
• Perform stocking duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, rotating products, and cleaning
• Manage price changes and operate cash register as required
• Process online orders and oversee timely product delivery
• Work in cold environments like walk-in freezers for inventory and shipments
• Perform other related duties

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Stand/walk for 8-10 hours
• Move within the store to access various areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant
• Excellent communication skills and ability to listen and understand customer needs
