Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving team and support store leadership. You’ll supervise operations, coordinate merchandise flow, and drive performance while building a strong, collaborative team.

Responsibilities include overseeing receiving, safeguarding assets, ensuring safety, and helping recruit and onboard new associates. Competitive pay and flexible hours are offered, with a commitment to diversity and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in off-price, big-box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Able to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; able to lift 40 lbs.

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standards.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Foster a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload; monitor productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support Community Relations activities and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off‑price, big‑box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full‑time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Compensation

Base Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour
