Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor at our Haverhill, MA location.

You will be the lead in Back of House operations, directing receiving, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor, while partnering with Store Management. This role requires a hands-on leader who can build strong teams, manage workload, ensure safety and asset protection, and recruit and onboard new associates.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a big-box, off-price, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading, sorting, processing, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup, and organization meet standards.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to minimize shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; coach and recognize performance; participate in planning meetings.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.

Our Burlington Back of House/Receiving team is looking for a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor. As a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor, you’ll be an integral part of the store leadership team, working closely with Store Management while being the main leader and director of the Back of House area. This leadership position is the stepping-stone to a management role within our expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor)

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Base Pay

Base Pay: $17.00 per hour – $19.00 per hour
