Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations in Salem. You will work closely with Store Management and direct daily receiving, stocking, and adherence to standards.

This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and process discipline, with opportunities to grow into a store management pathway. You should be a proactive leader who can coach colleagues, plan workload, and uphold Burlington's values and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big-box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Must be able to work full-time including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move, lift, and handle store merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receive deliveries, unload, sort cartons, and move goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup, and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and manage workload.
• Coach associates and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
