Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor in McHenry, IL to lead the Back of House/Receiving area and support store leadership. You will supervise receiving deliveries, organize merchandise, and help drive operational excellence on the floor and in back-of-house operations.

The role emphasizes team leadership, safety, asset protection, and collaboration with Management. Excellent communication and a proactive, hands-on approach are valued as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to supervise back-of-house operations and lead a team

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, flowing goods to the sales floor)
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization to standard
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shrinkage
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
• Direct associates and workload to maintain productivity
• Coach associates in the moment and recognize performance
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Drive Community Relations participation through company programs
• Coordinate meals and breaks and monitor schedule adherence
