Job summary

Burlington Stores in Laredo, TX is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the back of house, coordinating receiving deliveries, unloading, and flowing goods to the sales floor, while partnering with Store Management.

This role requires a proven leader with supervisory experience in a retail environment, willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays, and a commitment to safety, asset protection, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in retail or similar environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization at standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Directing associates and workload to achieve team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coaching associates and providing recognition; assist in recruiting and onboarding.
