Albertsons Companies Inc. in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You’ll help customers, stock shelves, and maintain displays to ensure a welcoming shopping experience throughout the day.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adaptability as you move between departments, operate equipment, and uphold pricing accuracy and store standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Clear, helpful communication when assisting customers and answering questions.
• Experience placing products on shelves, facing items, and maintaining display standards.
• Familiarity with store layout, pricing, and general merchandise across departments.
• Accuracy in pricing, labeling, product rotation, and removing outdated items.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Monitoring product levels and assisting with restocking and ordering processes.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines.
• Comfort moving between tasks, departments, and priorities throughout the shift.
• Standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs., and working in varying environments including backroom and outdoor areas

Responsibilities

• Keep shelves stocked and displays attractive and in good condition.
• Assist customers and answer questions to help them shop efficiently.
• Restock shelves and manage signage and pricing updates.
• Maintain backroom organization and inventory flow.
• Operate equipment safely as trained and follow guidelines.
