Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Northern Nevada is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, issue and deliver retail merchandise to our stores in the region. You will move merchandise from the receiving dock to stores, unload shipments, and ensure supplies such as bags, tissue, and packing materials are readily available.

The role requires accuracy, adherence to procedures and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Literate and fluent in basic English.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and uphold high integrity in a regulated business.

Responsibilities

  • Receives shipments in a timely manner.
  • Transports merchandise from receiving dock to store locations.
  • Receives, unpacks and stores daily merchandise deliveries.
  • Ensures supplies delivered to stores (bags, tissue, etc.).
  • Counts and inspects incoming materials; reports discrepancies.
  • Maintains stock levels and assists in inventory counts.
  • Fills orders and issues supplies upon approved requests.
  • Assists with Gift shop coverage and events as needed.

Job Summary

Receives, stores, issues, delivers, ships and accounts for retail merchandise in Northern Nevada.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • Receives shipments in a timely manner
  • Transports merchandise from the receiving dock to store locations
  • Receives, unpacks and puts away or transfers the daily delivery of merchandise
  • Ensures that all necessary supplies are delivered to the stores (bags, tissue, bubble wrap, etc)
  • Receives materials from common carriers and suppliers. Inspects and counts incoming materials; verifies against order for correctness and condition. Reports any deviations to Retail Supervisor
  • Stores materials in warehouses and obtains proper paperwork authorizing storage form other departments for non-inventory assets.
  • Participates in stock room cleanliness by dusting and keeping all areas neat and uncluttered
  • Fills orders and issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition or transfer request.
  • Verifies correctness of orders with receiving departments and obtains authorized signature.
  • Assists in inventory counts of all materials.
  • Obtains required signatures on receipts and bills of lading and maintains required reports and records.
  • Makes special deliveries and pickups as assigned.
  • Maintains stock levels, requisitioning products from the Warehouse and outside purveyors to maintain highest level of guest satisfaction as assigned by shift supervisor.
  • Helps out in Gift shop when needed for breaks
  • Assist with PPJ events
What You Will Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Literate and fluent in basic English
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to bend, crouch, turn, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to respond to visual and verbal cues
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and cash registers
  • Ability to stand on hard floors
  • Mobility to move about the work area
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 80 pounds
  • Must be able to lift overhead and climb a ladder for stocking purposes
  • Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
    environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment
