Job summary

The Hometown Pharmacy in De Pere, Wisconsin is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists, ensure accurate prescriptions, and support patient care. You will handle insurance processing, maintain records, and help with inventory while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to the community.

You should be detail oriented, dependable, and a strong communicator, able to multitask in a fast-paced setting and work well with the team to support patient care every day.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: pharmacy technician experience or training.
  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone.
  • Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system.
  • Count, label, package, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
  • Process insurance claims and assist with third-party billing issues.
  • Assist with medication and inventory ordering, stocking, and organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and support pharmacy workflow.
  • Learn about medications, brand/generic equivalents and therapeutic classes.
  • Support patient care programs and pharmacy services.
  • Assist customers with OTC products and general store inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to provide exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do
