Medieval Times is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Clerks to join our dynamic team in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This role focuses on providing outstanding customer service while selling retail items and photos during performances.

Ideal candidates will possess a positive attitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to engage guests actively. This part-time position offers a starting pay of $17.93 per hour without health benefits, though 401(k) is available from day one with a company match.

Medieval Times is looking for enthusiastic RETAIL SALES CLERKS to join our dynamic team in maintaining outstanding customer service while selling retail items and photos.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets customers and ascertains each customers’ wants or needs
• Assists guests in enhancing the excitement of their Medieval Times experience.
• Has fun while delivering a great guest experience!
• Answers questions regarding merchandise and pricing
• Describes options for taking and purchasing photos
• Uses camera to take both staged and candid photos of guests
• Sells retail items and photos to guests in the arena
• Assists in monthly and quarterly physical inventory of merchandise
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges
• Follows Medieval Times cash handling policies
• Arranges and displays merchandise to promote sales
• Assists the Bar/Beverage department with delivering drinks to guests during the show
• Performs additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Ability to count money and make change
• Ability to proactively engage guests in making a saleAbility to effectively communicate with Management, Team Members and Guests
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation

EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE

STARTING PAY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IS $17.93/HOUR. THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION. NO HEALTH BENEFITS ARE INCLUDED BUT 401(K) IS OFFERED DAY ONE AND INCLUDES A COMPANY MATCH.
