Overview

The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards as well as the teammate experience. With the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their business/department. The Lead is focused on delivering the best service to our customers as well as providing direction to teammates. Their ability to lead by example, be empathetic, resilient, optimistic, and collaborative distinguishes them.

Responsibilities
  1. Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  2. Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to foster trust, respect, and a positive store environment.
  3. Plans, organizes, and controls 30-day outlooks with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning for daily tasks, projects, or store events.
  4. Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and delegate tasks based on priority.
  5. Upholds merchandising and presentation standards following established floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory standards.
  6. Assists with general supervision of the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Participates in training teammates on procedures and programs, including onboarding and cross-training.
  8. Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the 'why' behind tasks.
  9. Leads by example to support organizational vision and store goals, emphasizing the connection between responsibilities and customer experience.
  10. Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  11. Adheres to safety, loss prevention, and operational policies.
  12. Maintains confidentiality of all company information.
  13. Supports the team across the store through an all-hands-on-deck approach.
  14. Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  1. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  2. Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
  3. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift 15-35 lbs. repeatedly.
  4. Ability to work extended periods standing or walking.
  5. Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or platforms.
  6. Ability to perform repetitive motions for up to 2 hours.
