Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate in Pleasant Hill, CA to deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, understanding their needs and guiding them to the right products. You will maintain merchandising standards, participate in inventory presentation, and promote loyalty and warranty programs while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder or platform.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to support their shopping experience.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, price changes and inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs such as loyalty, warranty sales and card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and foster an inclusive store environment.
• Support the team across the store and participate in other tasks as assigned.
