Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service at our Lancaster store.

You will monitor entrances/exits, greet customers with a warm, confident greeting, and report theft incidents to management as needed. This part-time role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays and offers associate discounts and team-based training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and confident greeting.
• Monitor entrances and high-risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft and ensure store security.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in shortage reduction programs and participate in training of associates.
