Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort is seeking a Retail Shop Attendant to join our on-site Gift Shop team. You will support the Retail Supervisor with daily shop operations, deliver exceptional customer service, supervise the shop, and help maintain accurate inventory and records.

The role requires 2–4 years of retail experience, strong computer skills (Excel), and a friendly, outgoing mindset. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school degree or a recognized equivalent.
• Two to four years of retail store experience required.
• Must be outgoing, personable, and friendly.
• Computer skills are required, and Excel is a must!
• A flexible schedule includes weekends and holidays as we are open 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Supervisor with daily operations of the Gift Shop.
• Provide exceptional customer service and supervise shop activities.
• Manage inventory control and maintain accurate records.
• Train and motivate staff to meet performance standards.
• Maintain accounting records for shop operations.

The JOB

As Retail Shop Attendant, you will assist the Retail Supervisor with daily operations of the Gift Shop. Responsibilities include; providing exceptional customer service, shop supervision, inventory control, training, motivating staff, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
