Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Retail Shift Lead to help manage daily operations, ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store, guide the team, and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll be a first line of leadership for both customers and staff.

The role focuses on overseeing inventory, scheduling, cash handling, and staff training, with opportunities for growth and a rewarding career path within Love's Travel Stops.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail management or team leadership.
• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.
• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.

Job Functions

• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.
