Love's Travel Stops - a leader in the travel stop industry - is hiring a Retail Shift Lead to help run daily operations, support the team, and deliver excellent customer service.

In this role you will oversee operations, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers, while growing with the company from within with opportunities for development and advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail management and/or team leadership.
• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations.
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility and adhere to safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, inventory management, and customer service.
• Assist management with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and cash register operations.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.
• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.
• Supervise and train team members, fostering a positive work environment.

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in retail management and/or team leadership
• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams

Skills And Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.
