Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Retail Shift Lead to support daily operations, guide the team, and deliver excellent customer service. You will help maintain a clean, safe facility and oversee inventory and cash processes while working closely with management.

This role emphasizes developing leaders from within, offers growth opportunities, and requires 1+ year in retail leadership along with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail management or team leadership.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Proven ability to train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility and adhere to safety procedures.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.

• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.

• Supervise and train team members, fostering a positive work environment.

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in retail management and/or team leadership

• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations

• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts.

• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.
