Job summary

Red White and Blue Thrift is seeking a Retail Supervisor to support the Retail Manager and oversee day-to-day operations of the sales floor. You will help deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, and work with the team to meet sales targets while guiding and coaching staff.

This role offers learning and growth opportunities in a fast-paced thrift store environment, with guidance from the Retail Manager and exposure to business metrics and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills: MS Office, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
• Previous thrift, retail, or customer facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the sales floor under the guidance of the Retail Manager.
• Team Development: Supervise and mentor retail team members with ongoing coaching to improve performance.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve inquiries.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, merchandising, and pricing to meet demand and targets.
• Cashier Operations: Supervise cashier operations and cash handling procedures.
• Learning and Growth: Review key reports and understand departmental goals to contribute to performance metrics.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work with the Retail Manager to implement sales strategies and boost productivity.
