Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Retail Shift Lead to guide daily operations, maintain a clean and safe store, and ensure excellent customer service. You will lead a team, manage inventory, and support cash handling while upholding Love’s standards.

You will oversee task execution, schedules, and staff development, helping us grow leaders from within and deliver a welcoming shopping experience for customers and truck drivers alike.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail management or team leadership.
• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations.
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.
• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.
• Supervise and train team members, fostering a positive work environment.
