The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also involves shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  2. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, ensuring team members follow customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
  3. Answer telephones according to company policy.
  4. Process online orders, transfers, and shipments promptly, and notify customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
  5. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, using the electronic ledger.
  6. Process retail customer returns and exchanges professionally, issuing refunds accurately and staging returned merchandise correctly.
  7. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before products leave the store.
  8. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
  9. Ensure adherence to work schedules, manage deviations, and verify clock-ins/outs.
  10. Perform store opening and closing duties, including end-of-day procedures, securing deposits, preparing bank deposits, and securing the premises.
  11. Complete all other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities
Required:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Desired:
  • Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
