Job summary

TRIDENT is seeking a Security Officer to provide professional security and safety services at assigned Cupertino locations, CA. The role requires self-motivation, reliability, and customer-service focus, with a calm demeanor and effective incident response in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has strong observation skills and 21+ years old, with California driver’s license and BSIS Guard Card. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with weekend/evening hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of Security Specialists to ensure customer and employee safety in retail environments
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and deter incidents
• Observe, report, and respond to unusual or unsafe conditions
• Investigate and document security-related incidents, accidents, and maintenance concerns
• Respond to requests for assistance from supervisors or clients
• Support client personnel during evacuations, hazardous situations, or emergencies
• Assist with crowd control and coordinate with public safety officials when necessary
• Verify proper identification for employees on client property
• Conduct parking enforcement and assist with vehicle-related disputes or incidents
• Greet and assist customers and employees professionally and proactively
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic First Aid, CPR, or AED support (if certified)
• Conduct exterior patrols to ensure doors, gates, and windows are secure
• Participate in daily shift briefings and communicate site updates
• Perform mobile patrols between retail locations as needed
• Maintain company equipment in proper working condition
• Complete accurate, detailed written reports as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by TRIDENT management
