Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Security Associate to maintain a Safe environment at the East Hartford location. You will patrol, monitor CCTV, conduct security audits, and respond to incidents, coordinating with leadership and law enforcement as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year in retail/security, a valid driver’s license, and a security license. The position offers full-time hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 1 year of retail, security, first-responder, or military experience.
• 1 year in big-box retail, security, or military.
• Driver’s license required.
• Security license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, proactive security and safety presence throughout the location.
• Validate physical security of building per Lowe’s policy (gates, doors, access control, perimeter).
• Engage with drivers and inbound/outbound processes in line with CTPAT.
• Perform regular safety and security audits using mobile devices.
• Conduct patrols of interior and exterior areas for security concerns.
