Job summary

Capital One in New York is seeking a Manager, Security Services to lead physical security across Retail locations and enterprise settings. You will design controls, partner with stakeholders, and oversee incident response while aligning with BPA and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strategic leadership, deep risk management expertise, and the ability to travel up to 20% and operate in a rotational on-call schedule to safeguard employees, contractors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 7 years of experience managing physical security, multi-site retail security, or law enforcement operations.
• At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience managing relationships in retail security, safety and security operations, or law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consultation and solutions that mitigate physical and safety risks on local, regional and enterprise levels.
• Design, develop, and execute controls, tests, and programs to ensure retail locations meet physical security requirements and BPA standards.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risk and respond to security incidents.
• Manage security projects and initiatives and partner with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class safety programs.
• Engage senior management alignment for safety initiatives supporting the Retail business model.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations to educate associates on security best practices and protocols.
• Deploy and manage contract guard resources within the area of responsibility.
• Maintain partnerships with law enforcement and security professionals; travel as needed.
