Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Office Tower Access Control Foot Patrol) in Irvine, CA to safeguard clients across various industries. The role emphasizes customer service, visible patrols, and prompt response to security concerns within a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
