Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to stand on post for 80-90% of shift.
• Prior security experience preferred, especially in retail.
• Must have open availability for all shifts and schedules.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Escort individuals to locations or remove them from property as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce facility rules and procedures.
