Job summary

Allied Universal in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Patrol to serve clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will monitor unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist visitors and employees, and apply site procedures with professionalism.

You will use a computer or tablet to document security activity, respond calmly to incidents, and help deter unauthorized access. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to pass background checks and

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas and surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
• Help deter unauthorized access through a professional presence and adherence to procedures.
