Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate in Shawnee, KS. You will help customers find products, participate in stocking, and support omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS, while delivering friendly service at checkout.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods and assisting with truck unloads and planograms. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred and a positive team attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go backs; maintain stock.
• Perform In-Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
