ShopRite in Sitar NJ is seeking a Scanning Clerk to ensure accurate pricing and provide excellent customer service. You will support price changes, maintain proper tagging, and assist with daily scanning operations in a fast-paced store environment.

The role demands the ability to read and communicate in English, perform basic math, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally). You will work with various departments to ensure safety and compliance across store functions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal and calculator.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great customer experience and assist pricing accuracy storewide.
• Maintain pricing file accuracy and match weekly ads.
• Maintain UPL tags and ensure pricing integrity on the sales floor.
• Follow company policies and safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
