Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Scanning Clerk (SRHC NJ) to deliver a great customer experience while maintaining pricing integrity across the store. The role requires maintaining pricing files, handling UPL tags, and ensuring proper sign age and scanning accuracy.

You will interact with customers, support various departments, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking English fluently and with comprehension.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate a computer terminal keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly price changes and verify the pricing file.
• Maintain pricing accuracy to match ads and circulars.
• Maintain UPL tags and ensure proper tagging.
• Respond to customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Greet customers and communicate with departments to ensure store operations.
