Hannaford is seeking a dependable store cleaning associate for our Albany, NY location. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment by performing daily cleaning tasks and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning breakrooms, restrooms, floors, and entryways, handling spills, stocking and sanitizing, and communicating repairs to the management team. This position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms and restrooms.
• Sweep and mop all floors daily.
• Clean up spills promptly during shifts.
• Empty all trash inside and outside of store.
• Schedule rotation and cleaning of the dairy shelves.
• Schedule cleaning of the glass dairy and frozen doors.
• Sweep parking lot with designated equipment.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures.
• Shovel and salt sidewalks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and safety programs.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity and respect.
• Maintain good communication with the management team and associates.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Communicate any needed repairs and/or maintenance work needed.
• Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned.
