Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in New London, NH is seeking a diligent store cleaner to maintain the breakroom, restrooms, floors, and storefront areas. You will follow safety policies and work with store teams to keep the environment safe and welcoming.

The role requires standing most of the shift, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, flexible hours, and a willingness to perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. You may also assist with exterior tasks and equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and procedures.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Flexible schedule needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the breakroom and all restrooms.
• Sweep and damp mop all floors daily.
• Clean up spills during shift.
• Empty all trash inside and outside of store.
• Schedule rotation and cleaning of dairy shelves.
• Cleanup of glass dairy and frozen food doors.
• Sweep parking lot with designated equipment.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Shovel and salt sidewalks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
• Treat co-workers with fairness and respect.
• Communicate repairs and maintenance needs to management.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
