Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You and the store team will focus on increasing sales, conversions, and service while engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Hiring immediately and potential for an in-person interview soon. As a Floor Leader, you will direct the team to ensure a top-notch store experience, oversee weekly merchandising, and support the GM with operational tasks.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a schedule based on store needs.
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication, organization, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to handle conflicts in a constructive way.
• Ability to lift/move materials 10–50 lbs, climb ladders, stand/walk.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the store.
• Champion company initiatives and be adaptable to change or other duties as assigned.
• Remain available and support an engaging environment.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks within the store.
• Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Peer coach team on behaviors to win and deliver results.
