Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor to champion customer engagement and supervise front-of-store operations in a busy retail environment. You will drive sales, conversions and service while coaching teammates to deliver total solutions to customers.

You will lead weekly sales and merchandising activities, act as Floor Leader, and promote company initiatives. The role offers flexible hours with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule required based on the store's needs.
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, adaptable to changing priorities.

Essential skills and experience:

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store's needs

• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services

• Must be able to and want to engage with customers and understand their needs

• Effective communication skills, organization, and adaptive to changing business priorities

• Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others

• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment

• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
