Job summary

VONS in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member to keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You will assist customers, locate items, and maintain a welcoming environment across departments.

You’ll stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and keep backroom organized. The role involves moving between tasks in a fast-paced retail setting to support a smooth shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age or older, depending on role requirements)
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards

Responsibilities

• Keep store clean, organized, and easy to shop.
