Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. operates Safeway stores and is hiring a Retail Sales and Store Support team member in Oregon. You will keep the store clean, assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain displays while rotating products and updating pricing.

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Ideal candidates have strong communication, product knowledge, and attention to detail, with experience in retail or stocking preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age or older, depending on role requirements)
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop.
• Help customers locate what they need and answer questions.
• Maintain welcoming environment across store areas.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and keep backroom organized.
• Handle inventory and support across departments to keep displays in good condition
