Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring a Sales Assistant Manager to drive sales through rental agreements, provide exceptional customer service, and coordinate deliveries, pickups, and merchandising in our New London area stores. The role includes in-store and in-home interactions to ensure a positive customer experience.

The position requires 1–3 years in retail or customer service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Weekly pay and full-time hours are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail/customer service, sales, or collections experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record — You WILL be driving company vehicles.
• Ability to lift and move product such as furniture, electronics, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Grow revenue through rental agreements and prospecting new customers.
• Customer Service: Deliver top-notch services with a servant’s heart in stores and in customers’ homes.
• Deliveries & Pickups: Safely load/unload and install products following procedures.
• Merchandising: Keep the store inviting and clean for customers and coworkers.
