Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking Sales Associates in Michigan's Midland area to greet customers, run registers accurately, and maintain a clean, safe store. You’ll help with lottery, tobacco, and alcohol compliance and upsell where appropriate.

This role offers opportunities for advancement, flexible schedules (FT/PT), and a supportive team environment. Weekend and holiday availability is requested, with a focus on high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales — ensure age verification and legal compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and lot areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh.
• Maintain a clean and organized store with swept floors, cleaned windows, and tidy entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.
