Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring for a full-time hourly role focused on processing donated goods for sale in our retail stores. You will examine and grade items, prepare them for the sales floor, and contribute to fast-paced production goals while following SOPs.

The position emphasizes guest engagement, professional conduct, merchandising, and teamwork, with uniformed attire and safety practices integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver an unbelievable brand experience.
• Display a professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Transition product to the retail floor with attention to detail and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
• Recommend/upsell merchandise and round up during transactions.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately with guests.
• Identify and solve problems or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management, peers, and guests.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
