Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to be the point of contact for customers, stock and display merchandise, and help protect company assets. You will unload trucks, handle replenishment, and assist customers on the sales floor.

The role involves operating the cash register, greeting customers, and supporting store operations with handheld scanners and ordering as needed. A high school diploma is preferred, with strong communication and basic math skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Experience with cash handling and IBM registers.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and unload merchandise from cartons and totes.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock shelves and prepare back stock area.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas including front end and restock as needed.
