Job summary

Verizon Retail is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow career opportunities within our retail stores. You will drive sales with passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service, building connections and delivering complete, top-down solutions.

You can earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $18,000 a year in individual-based commissions if you hit goals. Top performers could reach $65,000+ to $75,500+ annually with additional commission potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to picking up additional shifts to earn more income.
• Experience in commission-based sales and customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continue to develop through training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
