Job summary

You will handle cash and POS procedures, maintain displays according to guidelines, stock shelves, and participate in inventory counts, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to customers through direct salesmanship and courteous service; completes each transaction quickly and efficiently.
• Performs all functions relating to handling merchandise or cash in accordance with policy.
• Executes POS opening/closing procedures in line with corporate policy.
• Resolves customer complaints per company policy and with customer satisfaction in mind.
• Ensures customers receive receipts on purchases and communicates merchandise needs to supervisors.
• Contributes to display and presentation efforts, including stocking/replenishing merchandise and following visual merchandising guidelines.
• Participates in physical inventory counts as required.
