Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Specialist in California to promote and sell our products to existing and new customers. You will be the face of Spectrum, driving sales while delivering exceptional customer care and maintaining knowledge of pricing and promotions.

The role emphasizes building relationships, handling cash, and using mobile devices to support customers in a fast-paced store environment. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort with personal technology including mobile devices.
• Basic math skills.
• English reading/writing/speaking; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Retail and sales/telecom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identifying sales opportunities and creating ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Building positive customer relationships, effective listening, and overcoming objections, while reselling the value of our products.
• Maintaining knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards.
• Ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere, delivering a clean retail experience, policy adherence, issue resolution.
