Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Specialist in our California stores to promote and sell our services to both existing and new customers. You’ll help deliver exceptional customer care and a welcoming in-store experience.

You’ll be empowered to drive sales with a flexible schedule, commission incentives, and a focus on meeting performance goals while providing accurate payments and knowledgeable product guidance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self‑motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Bilingual: Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Spectrum products and services to existing and new customers.
• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and educate customers on product value.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards.
• Create a welcoming store atmosphere and ensure policy adherence and issue resolution.
