Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow careers within one of our retail stores. You’ll drive sales through passion for tech, uncover customer needs, and deliver top-down solutions with excellent service.

You’ll train continuously, expand your customer base, and may participate in outbound outreach and community events to boost loyalty. Scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to picking up additional shifts during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking questions.
• Position product insights and propose solutions for a top-down sales approach.
• Close sales with strong communication to meet customer needs.
• Develop through ongoing training in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Potential to grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to current customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to build loyalty.
