Your Day at Lowe's

As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, help them find products and services, and ensure all their needs are met. Your responsibilities include assisting with product selection, loading merchandise, and providing excellent customer service. Your tasks may vary by department, which could include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance service.
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping and checkout processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information).
• 6 months experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform physical activities required for the role.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.
• Trade certifications relevant to the department (e.g., hardware, plumbing).
