You will implement pricing accuracy, handle deliveries, manage perishables, and maintain a clean store environment. WIC benefits knowledge and obtaining a Food Handlers & TABC permit within 10 days are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in a retail setting.
• Processes sales transactions accurately and handles cash drawer securely.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures as required.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, middle, and closing duties and ensures correct pricing.
• Reports safety hazards promptly.
• Verifies ad prices and updates sale signs as needed.
• Unloads deliveries and checks for damages.
• Discards expired items per policy and promotes near-expiry items.
• Organizes merchandise and restocks shelves.
• Conducts routine inventory counts and submits reports.
• Performs stocking tasks such as lifting and facing out products.
• Answers calls from the office and customers.
• Must lift 50 pounds and stand for full shifts.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Complete Food Handlers & TABC permit within 10 days of hire.
