Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, stock merchandise, and assist in maintaining plan-o-grams and displays. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and ensure a clean, organized sales floor to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, restocking merchandise, and assisting with ordering and merchandising setup.

Formación

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner; bag merchandise and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners as needed.
• Clean front end of store and set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
