Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store team member to act as a primary customer contact, help set up plan-o-grams, and maintain merchandise stock. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and handling cash at the checkout.

Responsibilities also cover operating the cash register, accepting payments, and assisting with stockroom organization. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock store.
• Build and stock merchandise displays.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
