Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to serve as the main customer contact and support overall store operations. You will assist customers, stock shelves, operate the register, and help maintain plan-o-grams and displays. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, teamwork, and accuracy in handling cash and merchandise.

You will unload trucks, stock, greet customers, and help with merchandising tasks. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and relocation assistance is not provided at

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise or move to sales floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register to total purchases.
• Collect payment, make change, bag items.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean store areas and set up displays as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
